LMPs

Lowboy Mobile Parks (LMPs) are designed to fit within standard 9’ x 19’ parking spaces. There are two versions of the Lowboy Park design: one for parallel parking spaces and one for angled parking spaces.

The concept is based on creating mobile “roll-off” parks in urban environments where park space and vacant lots are scarce. Lowboy Parks are built from prefabricated 8’ x 16’ Lowboy containers.

LMPs are intended to serve pedestrians along sidewalks in high-density urban areas. They provide places where people can meet, rest, and access the internet. They are designed to meet ADA standards for accessibility.

Each Lowboy Park will feature built-in seating and countertops, two large trees for shade, adjustable solar louvers, electrical outlets, and free Wi-Fi. The Lowboys are mobile and can be relocated as needed to any standard-sized parking space.
